James is hosting these "Night Classes" because he thinks that individuals can explore the History of Popular Music in various ways by immersing themselves in a record store environment. In the early 1990s, when James first entered the Toronto Music Scene, he assisted people in discovering music at Sam The Record Man on Yonge Street, Toronto. Now, James is able to help people learn about music at Play De Record.
